We’re delighted to announce our keynote speaker for BioVis @ VIS as Prof. Sheelagh Carpendale.

Professor Carpendale is a Professor at the University of Calgary where she holds a Canada Research Chair in Information Visualization and an NSERC/AITF/SMART Industrial Research Chair in Interactive Technologies.

Sheelagh is a prominent VIS researcher who brings together expertise and formal training in arts and design, and computer science through her BSc and PhD from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
